Our first visit to Whitby and we were made to feel so welcome by Phil. Everything was top notch quality and extremely clean. A lot of thought has gone into making the customer happy. Many good quality extras too. If you want a good night’s sleep in a comfortable bed and a delicious freshly cooked breakfast you need look no further.TripAdvisor, 2019

It’s a few years since we visited the Leeway but hopefully it won’t be so long until our next visit. A great welcome, comfortable and well presented room. A tasty breakfast to set you up for the day. A great location for our short break.TripAdvisor, 2019

Beautiful character small hotel. After a long and tiresome drive we were welcomed by Sharon with a much appreciated piping hot pot of tea and home-made cake. Our room was in the attic named Kelp and the hoteliers had thought of everything.TripAdvisor, 2019

pleasant and friendly owners can’t do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble!
The Langley is a stunning family-friendly seafront guest house and is the perfect choice if you’re looking for traditional accommodation in Whitby.
We stayed 3 nights, and we now wish we had stayed longer. You can not fault the Langley, and Andi and Kerry do all they can to welcome you into their home. From the time we arrived, where Andi helped with the luggage (and we did take a lot) to each day, where Kerry cooks one hell of a good breakfast, you can not fault the place, and just have to say, it is perfect.TripAdvisor, 2019

Highlights include: free tea/coffee and cake between 2 and 5PM, free high speed internet and comfortable rooms.
Booked this on a recommendation of a friend for a couple of nights for my husband’s birthday and wasn’t disappointed. Lovely big room, very clean, nicely decorated, plenty of storage. Breakfast was ordered the night before but you could still ask for things off menu with notice. We also had no problem finding free of charge parking on the road just round the corner.TripAdvisor, 2019

We were pleasantly surprised at our room at the Sandpiper, the room was very large and the bathroom was as good as the finest hotel. Breakfast was excellent, there were a number of choices.TripAdvisor, 2019
Peter was the perfect host. It couldn’t have been better.
Although this guest house is located outside of Whitby town centre it shouldn’t be missed. It’s the perfect place to stay if you’re interested in seeing the attractions within the surrounding villages such as Grosmont Station (famous for its appearance in the first Harry Potter film) and Goathland, a quaint little village which was a popular filming location for the TV series Heartbeat.
Beechlands is a charming Guest House located on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, offering free car parking, free Wi-Fi and generous breakfasts.
Back for the Whitby Goth Festival, Anne and Paul’s wonderful welcome always make us feel right at home. Bright, fresh clean room, with the little extras as Anne is happy to help with dietary needs, and fresh clean towels. Amazing cook breakfast for my husband. There’s a veggie choice in the cook breakfast too.TripAdvisor, 2019
Finally on our list is Dillons of Whitby, claiming to be the only 5 star accommodation in Whitby. Offering 5 uniquely styled rooms and only a short 5 minute walk into the centre of Whitby. Amenities include: free car parking, free Wi-Fi and free breakfast.
Myself & my Husband stayed here for 2 nights for our 1st wedding anniversary. We received a super friendly welcome upon arrival before being shown to our beautiful room. The breakfast menu is the best we’ve seen at any B&B and it was cooked to perfection. Craig & Matt are fantastic hosts. We highly recommend this lovely place.TripAdvisor, 2019
